Here it is shown an example of story where the story's tension is greater than 1.3 during the decision of the fourth beat. In this case, the beat Bob suggests going to a massage parlor is not added to the story.

ACT I


Scene I—You yourself in front of the door of your friends' apartment.

Beat 1: AT THE DOOR OF THE APARTMENT


BOB:  "Shut up. Stop talking about this."
MARY:  "I know you have been cheating on me."
[player Knocking on The Door.]
MARY:  "Someone is Knocking."

Beat 2: RECEIVING THE PLAYER


MARY:  " Who's there? The door is opened."
[player Entering.]
MARY:  "Look at you! Come in. Bob, our guest is here."

Scene II—Inside of the apartment
BOB:  "Hello my good friend. It's very good to see you! How are you?"
PLAYER:  "I'm very unhappy"
MARY:  sad   "Things will be better in no time."
BOB:  sad

Beat 3: OFFERING DRINK


BOB:  "Let's drink something. Beer? whiskey?"
PLAYER:  "I desire liquor"
BOB:  disappointed   "We don't have this."
BOB:  excited   "Let's drink beer. Here it is. It's very cold!"
MARY:  angry
[Phone starts ringing.]

Beat 4: MARY MAKES ADVANCES TO THE PLAYER


BOB:  "Ok. I'll get it."
MARY:  waving   "Come near! I won't bite!"
PLAYER:  "He is stupid"
MARY:  waving
MARY:  blowkiss

BOB:  "What are you doing?"
BOB:  shout   "Get out of here now!"
